Pioneer DEH-1300MP CD Receiver Great Reviews

without comments

Greatest entry-level deck available on the market. First of, it’s a Pioneer, which instantly means 1. it sounds much better than anyone else’s (Kenwood, Alpine, and particularly Sony and Clarion; only JVC comes close), 2. it may play ANY CD, even several sloppily burned off-brand rewritable that has been through nuclear bombings, and 3. it’ll possibly last forever (I’ve owned numerous Pioneer decks since 2001 with not one problem).

Even with this bottom-end stripper design you still get all of the basics, unlike years ago: MP3 CD playback, a 3-way equalizer, and an Aux jack port for portable players. As an additional benefit, the DEH-1300MP escapes the usual Pioneer disadvantage of annoying ergonomics: the time clock and display buttons tend to be better placed this year, and it is the only model in the 2011 collection whose on/off switch could be the volume knob rather than some tiny-ass buried button.

From what I will tell, the products missing from Pioneer’s higher-end designs is:
-A 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, whatever that is (this kind of one’s is actually 12-bit)
-RDS for displaying song/artist info when playing FM
-A entrance USB jack port (best for charging your Ipod, and straight controlling iPods)
-A 3. 5mm jack in the back (in order to buy an adapter to help keep your steering wheel controls still living)
-A second pair of preouts
-Custom color display
-HD and/or satellite television radio
-Extra audio tricks like a 6-band equalizer and high-pass filter
-Bluetooth
I file everything that in the particular nice-but-not-necessary group.

For the particular record, the appear isn’t really as clean as upon Pioneer’s higher models… somehow, that last 10% is actually missing. I’m unsure which design marks the point of development (several units in the test room weren’t operating that day), but in either case I’m not necessarily docking any stars cuz the particular $70 MSRP is indeed modest.

Basically, this outdoor patio has solid sound, a fair price, all important features, and simply no real defects. Hook it up to quartet associated with Infinity speakers and you have got the best car stereo on the block.
